I am studying animation in Turku Arts Academy, Finland. I've been at it for 3 years and now I'm starting my 3d path with Maya. Autodesk was kind enough to provide students 3 year license for Maya and Mudbox, and I'm going to put them to use.
We didn't have a teacher who could teach Maya at our school. So I've made myself a study plan where I'm going to learn Maya through tutorials and testing without an educated teacher.
I am a father of two little girls and they keep me busy and happy at home. School provides me with 8 hours working time every day and a table, so I should make some progress.
